2026 Winter Olympic games
Brief
We designed a complete social media template system for TNT Sport/Eurosport's coverage of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, building on our long-running creative partnership with TNT Sports and Eurosport across major global tournaments.
The system covered every touchpoint, from fixtures, tables and schedules to medal wins, athlete spotlights and breaking news. Working from the brand guidelines created by DixonBaxi, in close collaboration with the TNT Sports brand team, our focus was on building in time-saving features so producers could update graphics quickly while covering live sport. Layer comps and smart objects did the heavy lifting technically, housing every national flag, competition pictogram and market-specific branding within each PSD. Consistent typography, locked layers, interchangeable backgrounds and clearly labelled files reduced the margin for error across teams of varying skill levels.
The templates were adapted across Eurosport's international markets and translated into Spanish, Dutch, Polish, French and Italian, supporting coverage of every sport across the Games. The end result gave the social teams, both on the ground in Italy and back in the studio, a system that made coverage faster and more efficient, letting them focus on the moments that mattered while the templates handled the structure behind the scenes.
TESTIMONIALS:
“Playbook Studios played a hugely important role in bringing Eurosport’s Paris 2024 brand to life on social media. Before the Games, they produced 25 different Photoshop templates, each in the requested 1x1, 4x5 and 9x16 formats. Dave was incredibly engaged throughout the process to ensure he was nailing the brief and the feedback from our 15 regional teams across Europe who used the templates was only positive about how visually striking and user-friendly they were.
