Brief:

Cricket.com.au, the official digital platform of Cricket Australia, covers news, live scores, and global cricket stories. With over 2 million Instagram followers and just under 1m followers on X, they’re one of the biggest cricket accounts in the world.

They asked us to design a suite of editable Photoshop templates for social media, giving their team of journalists an easy way to create professional, on-brand graphics. The templates cover player stats, match updates, squad announcements, quotes, and breaking news, aligning with the cricket.com.au site and app while keeping a distinct identity from the national team.

We based the design for the templates on the iconic Cricket Australia shield, intergrating it into the background of the templates where possible. Then across the board, we introduced colours that brought the designs to life and paired solid chunky hero typography with clean, easy to read body text for a fresh look across all their social posts.
